Introduction
The Progressive Disclosure pattern enables the management of sequential processes containing a minimum of two steps. It categorizes steps into three states: Active, Done/Completed, and ToDo/Pending, aiding in visualizing the progress. Users are unable to skip steps, for example they cannot jump from step 1 to step 4. Users must adhere to the sequential order of steps.
The Progressive Disclosure divides complex tasks into manageable chunks, aiding users in understanding and completing them. Contextual help, such as text explanations, tooltips, and other UI elements, can guide users through each step.
